Dr. Dan Casey

Dr. Dan Casey and Sharon, his wife, came to Little Rock First Church in March, 1999, after serving for eleven years in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a strong, Biblical preacher who combines exhortation, pastoral love, and instruction. Dr. Casey is a co-author of Growing Disciples, a discipleship workbook published by the Beacon Hill Press of Kansas City. He did undergraduate work at Olivet Nazarene University and graduate work at Nazarene Theological Seminary and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. The Doctor of Ministries degree was conferred upon him by Liberty on May 13, 2000. Dr. Casey currently serves as the District Secretary and Advisory Board Member of the South Arkansas District of the Church of the Nazarene. He is also a trustee of Southern Nazarene University and an Advisory Board Member of the Central Arkansas Area Command of the Salvation Army.

Pastor Brittany Cottle

Brittany and her family joined the staff of FCN in September 2009.  Brittany comes to us from Raleigh, North Carolina, but has family right here in Arkansas.  She served as the Family Pastor in Raleigh for six years.  Brittany and her husband, Brian, have been married since 1995 and have one child, Ash.  As a family, they are committed to sharing Christ with the children and helping them grow spiritually.

Dr. Jim Daniel
Senior Care Pastor

Dr. Jim Daniel and Sue, his wife, came to Little Rock First Church in November 2005.  In January 2006, Dr. Daniel became the Senior Care Pastor of our church.  Dr. Daniel previously served for 43 years and 5 months as Senior Pastor in eight churches: Little Rock Rose Hill, Austin First and San Antonio First in Texas, Henryetta First and Oklahoma City Trinity in Oklahoma, Kansas City Nall Avenue, Owego First in New York and Brockington Road in Sherwood, AR.  Dr. Daniel has a B.A. from Southern Nazarene University, Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from the Perkins School of Theology of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.  Dr. Daniel is also a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Kathy Forrester

Kathy Forrester has been the office secretary at Little Rock First Church since June of 1996. Kathy grew up in Michigan and relocated to Little Rock with her husband, Jim, in 1984. They started attending First Church and immediately got involved in the ministry of the church. Kathy teaches our Nursery Class on Sunday mornings, sings in the choir, is a soloist in the services, and serves as the President of our Nazarene Mission International. In addition to her normal secretarial duties, Kathy publishes the church’s monthly newsletter, The Builder’s Stone. Kathy and Jim have two children and two grandchildren who are all connected to the church.
